Marilyn M. Gierach, 76, a resident of Touchstone Living Center, North Fond du Lac, died Thursday, May 31, 2012.

She was born on September 13, 1935, in Port Washington, a daughter of Raymond and Florence Buth Wiebe.

On May 1, 1954, she married Elmer E. Gierach.

Marilyn was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac.

She is survived by four children: Christine (William) Eickhoff of St. Cloud, Rick (Anita) Gierach of St. Cloud, Jeffrey (Janine) Gierach of Fond du Lac, and John (Debbie) Gierach of Mt. Calvary; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Roger (Karen) Wiebe of Cedarburg; one brother-in-law, Verland “Jim” (Hazel) Gierach of Marinette.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer, on January 14, 2004; two daughters: Linda Rae on April 26, 1975, and Betty Ann on December 5, 1998; two brothers-in-law, Ardell (Dolores) Gierach; and Marshall (Lois) Saunders.

The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church, 20 Wisconsin American Drive, Fond du Lac, with Rev. Shari Routh officiating. Burial will follow in Rienzi Cemetery.

The visitation will be on Tuesday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
